Every year, a Sibelga meter reader visits your home to read your meter. Our schedule shows you the date of his/her next visit. We also tell you what to do if you are not there.

Our meter reader always visits your home without an appointment. However, the month of his/her visit is predefined for each municipality. Will you be away during this visit? That is not a problem. You will receive a letter with instructions on how to send us your gas and/or electricity meter readings.

Note this information in your diary so that you are not surprised by this visit.

Are you wondering how you can tell if the person who comes to your home is indeed one of our meter readers? We share with you the 7 ways to recognise a Sibelga meter reader. A visit by a meter reader outside of the month scheduled for your street is already suspicious

Were you away at the time of the meter reading? No need to panic

Were you out when our meter reader visited? Do not worry. He/she will visit a second time another day

Were you away again at the time of this second visit? You receive a letter in your letterbox. This letter explains how to read a meter and submit your meter readings
