Here you'll discover our rates for using the gas distribution networks that have been approved by the Brussels regulator, Brugel.

You can find out how our rates are calculated on the Brugel website. These are revised every 5 years using a method developed by Brugel.

Some elements of these rates may of course be adjusted over the regulatory period due to changes in specific costs that are also borne by Sibelga (for example, taxes, road charges, public service obligations, transport).

The current regulatory period for which the rates have been fixed is 2025 to 2029 inclusive.

Network usage rates vary depending on the customer category

Each customer is allocated a rate category depending on:

  • the volume they consume
  • the meter reading interval (annual, monthly or hourly)

What are these categories?

  • T1: consumers with consumption from 0 to 5,000 kWh/year
  • T2: consumers with consumption from 5,001 to 150,000 kWh/year
  • T3: consumers with consumption from 150,001 to 1,000,000 kWh/year
  • T3: consumers with consumption from 1,000,001 to 10,000,000 kWh/year
  • T5: consumers with consumption greater than 10,000,000 kWh/year
