First, check the type of charging which your vehicle can handle. The vast majority of new cars on the market allow both single-phase (230V) and three-phase with neutral (400V) charging.
As far as power is concerned, normal charging (3.7 kW or 7.4 kW at 230 V) is usually more than enough for home use. It does not require any upgrading of your electrical connection.
