Would you like to close the gas valve?
The gas inlet valve is usually located in front of your gas meter. In the closed position, the valve arm is perpendicular to the gas pipe. In the open position, the valve is parallel to the pipe.
Before reopening the tap, check that all appliances are switched off to prevent any gas leaks.
Do you want to close your gas meter?
Closing a meter is free of charge, but please note that the reopening of the meter will be billed.
First of all, contact your energy supplier to inform them that you want to close your meter. The supplier will then send Sibelga a request for closure.
Once you have received confirmation from your energy supplier that your meter can be closed, you can then contact Sibelga to make an appointment.

You can submit your request online on the work requests.

Please note: There is a charge for meter removal. If there are no longer any meters on site, you will also have to remove the entire connection, which will incur additional costs. |
