It is perfectly possible to monitor the electricity consumption of family or friends. However, the contract holder must give you permission for this.
How to proceed?
For example, you want to monitor your grandmother's electricity consumption in addition to your own.
- Add your grandmother's meter using the EAN code. In the app, this meter will have the status "Pending".
- The contract holder (in this case, your grandmother) will then receive an email to inform her that someone wants to monitor her consumption data. Note! This email will only be sent to the email address registered with her energy supplier.
- Your grandmother must then give her consent to grant you access to her consumption data.
- If your grandmother gives her consent, the status of her meter in your app will change to "Active".
- If your grandmother does not give her consent, the status will change to "Expired". Note! After 24 hours, this email will expire. You can, if necessary, submit your request again - If there is no email address registered for this meter, your grandmother must call our customer service.
