Yes, you must declare your solar panels, cogeneration, batteries or any other energy production facility. This is also the case for Plug & Play solar panels and batteries. This is necessary to enable us to continue to provide a stable and efficient electricity network for all the people of Brussels.
The installation must be declared no later than 30 days after it is brought into service. Please note that penalties apply if you declare your installation outside these regulatory deadline.
We therefore recommend that you declare your installations as soon as possible.
