If you fail to notify us, you will be liable for a penalty that covers the costs of searching for, analysing and rectifying each undeclared installation.
Late declaration
Each installation must be declared at least within 30 days after it is commissioned. If you declare your installation outside these regulatory deadlines imposed by the technical regulations, you will be liable for a penalty.
What you need to know
In both cases, if you have an electromechanical meter, we will replace it with a smart meter. If you installed solar panels and did not file a declaration, we will apply a retroactive correction to the billing data for consumption from the network.
