Yes, our meter readers will continue to visit you to manually record your meter readings, just like before (e.g., annually or monthly). You can also choose to submit your readings yourself via phone, mail, or our website.
Want it even easier? The smart meter can automatically send your meter readings, but this feature is disabled by default in Brussels. With your consent, Sibelga can read them remotely, so you won’t need to submit them yourself or wait for the meter reader. Your data will then be securely and automatically sent to your energy supplier.
