The legal framework for smart meters is determined at the regional level by the update of 20 September 2018 of the Order of 19 July 2001 on the organisation of the electricity market in the Brussels-Capital Region and the Order of 01 April 2004 on the organisation of the gas market in the Brussels-Capital Region.
