What is a permission for automatic meter reading, and why should I give it?

Your smart meter records and stores your electricity consumption locally in the meter itself. However, you can also grant us permission to remotely read your usage.

• This allows you to gain better insight into your energy consumption through the My Sibelga app.
• You can also avail yourself of other services offered by your energy provider later on.

Please note:

• This permission applies per EAN (per meter) and can be revoked by you at any time.
• Your permission automatically expires if you move.
